unsur kebahasaan must, should)
4.3 Menyusun teks interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis sangat pendek
dan sederhana yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta
informasi terkait keharusan, larangan, dan himbauan, dengan
memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan
yang benar dan sesuai konteks.
Learning Objectives
After following the learning activity by using Genre Based Approach, students are
expected to be able to:
1. identify social functions, text structures, and language features of the
expressions of giving and asking for information related to obligation, prohibition,
and advice, according to the context of its use correctly.

Learning Method
Note :

future. When we use the past, or the future
with will, we need to a form of have to.
PROHIBITION
Social Function : The act of not allowing something to be used or done.
Text Structure :

NOTE:
We can also use “had better” and “should have” to giving advice
Be careful:
Should has multiple meanings. It can be used to express certainty, such
as, "He should be here by five o'clock." Should can be a substitute for t
he conditional word if. (VOA: Everyday grammar).
