Tivoli is delivering enhancements to the Value-Based
pricing model and simplified packaging and ordering. You
may now choose one of two Tivoli Storage Manager V5.1
offerings based on your business needs:

• IBM Tivoli Storage Manager – For basic backup-archive over a LAN

• IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Enterprise Edition – Enables you to


exploit advanced functions including LAN-free backup-restore to tape and
disk, library sharing, space management, disaster recovery management,
and NDMP support.
