NARRATIVE REPORT IN PREVENTING DENGUE IN SCHOOLS

In pursuant to DM. No. 152,s. 2011 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS Preventing

Dengue in Schools to Ensure that Schools Regularly Conduct Vector Control
Measures to Eliminate Mosquitoes in the School Environment, the Division reiterates
the importance in taking actions to monitor and implement necessary measures for
the prevention and control of Dengue to protect the school populace.
Abra Elementary School last year was once searched kiti-kiti that
carriers of Dengue based on the test conducted by the CHO through the BHW. In
this reason, last month Staff and administrator of our school search areas that could
possibly have kiti-kiti around school and eliminate things that have stagnant water.
After the release of Division Memorandum No. 201 s, 2019 our school
conducted an anti-dengue campaign to all our learners. Mrs. Miriam P. Antimano, a
grade 2 adviser discussed the dengue mosquito carrier, the time that mosquito bite,
the symptoms of dengue and off course the prevention of dengue.
She put emphasis that cleanliness can help to avoid illness like dengue.
