DANGEROUS DRUG ABUSE
 ISSUES AND CONCERNS

1. Level 1 Training for DOH Accreditation of Barangay Rural Health

Physicians who graduated the Basic Screening, Assessment and Referral
conducted by the DOH-NCRO.

2. Lack of existing RECOVERY CLINIC with qualified permanent personnel that is

solely for CADAC and RECOVERY CLINIC .

3. Un-validated Illegal Drugs Watch list and Drug Surrenderers.
 RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Train 18 Barangay Rural Health Physicians for Level 1 DOH Accreditation.

2. Establish and maintain facilities for after care and follow-up of recovering drug
dependent and assign qualified personnel that is solely for CADAC and RECOVERY
CLINIC as per Board Regulation No. 2 Series of 2018: BALAY SILANGAN – Guidelines for
community involvement in reforming offenders into self-sufficient and law-abiding
members of society.

3. Strengthen the Implementation of functional Las Piñas City Community

Approach Recovery System (LPC-CAReS) for the 20 barangays.

4. Conduct intelligence / validation Workshop and harmonization of BADAC

and PNP Watchlist and Drug surrenderers.
