How use comparatives?
We use comparatives to
compare two things or
two people. (e.g She is
taller than her
husband.)

How use superlatives?
Superlatives are used,
however, to show the
difference between more
than two things or more than
two people. (e.g Paris is the
biggest city in France)

Than
As…..as
You use it to compare two
When comparing with as ...as,
things.
the adjective does not change.
- Our car is bigger than
- I'm almost as good in
your car.
maths as in science.
- It's much colder today
- This book is not as exciting
than it was yesterday.
