KOALAS
Males will have a brown scent
glands that give off scent to
mark their territory. Koalas are
territorial. They sleep 18-22
hours at a time because they
have low energy. They have low
energy because of their hard to
digest food.
EUCALYPTUS
TREE
The eucalyptus tree releases seeds
after there has been a fire. All the
nutrients for the seeds to germinate
are found in the ash bed. This gives
the eucalyptus trees  less
competition from other plants who
cannot survive after fire conditions
meaning the young trees will have a
better chance of survival.
3. PHYSIOLOGICAL-
EXTENSION
A body process that helps an
organism survive or reproduce.
Sometimes you cannot see these
changes.
