REDEVELOPMENT OF
ILOILO SPORTS COMPLEX
INTRODUCTION
Sport includes all forms of competitive physical activity or
games which, through casual or organised participation, aim to
use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while
providing enjoyment to participants, and in some cases,
entertainment for spectators. It is a basic need of a man. As a
man needs food to fulfil his energy requirement, he also requires
sports to accomplish his physical necessities. Sports has a
pivotal role in the growth of the body.

Sports activity contributes to the person's physical well-

being, mental balance and social interactions. Promoting an
active and healthy lifestyle is a priority due to the many benefits
