Reminders

• Preparing for oral presentation


Students/Presenters cannot speak effectively to an
audience if they do not know what to present. It is important
then that they should carefully read, reread, understand,
analyze and evaluate their project proposal opt for a
satisfactory presentation. Memorization should not be
observed, instead, mastery through understanding should be
elevated.
Reminders
Needs: What to prepare and bring for the presentation
• Compilation of all working templates and the rubrics for oral presentation
• All templates must be clipped in a long white folder
• Sequence: 1. Rubrics for Oral Presentation 2. Working Template 1 and 2
• Powerpoint (PPT) Presentation
Maximum of 10 slides only
This is already the suggested template for the presentation. Do not revise; do
not change the font style & size
Just duplicate whenever needed.
You may remove the reminders and start your presentation with Slide 6
Reminders
Name tag/Presenter
- last name of each student visibly written
- readable at any distance (black inked, all in CAPITAL letters)
- pinned in the attire; chest level; left side
Wear Smart Casual Attire/Corporate/Semi-formal Attire
- Presenters should be in there most pleasing appeal during the
presentation
- Do come prepared and look fresh

Students should be able to:
• clarify the content of a their project proposal;
• justify claims, arguments, and even facts with scholarship; and
• communicate an academic paper with fluency, literacy, confidence and in an interactive manner.

• An assigned presentation area in the venue/room will be identified. Ten chairs will be provided or reserved
in front, arranged in two columns facing the audience. These chairs will be the seats for the presenters.
• Drop notes: Presenters will not be allowed to bring any piece of paper or guide while sitting down in the
reserved chairs in front. They should sit down silently with preparedness and listen to the presentation of
their other groupmates to prepare them for the Q and A.
• Make a very good start and give beautiful transitions every after presentation: First presenter/s should
introduce the next ones.
• All members of the group will get the same scores.

• Venue and projector will be prepared by the teacher
• Laptops/flash drives/back up files should be available at any time; Plan B for the presentation is highly
recommended; plan out for any or possible interruptions!
• The teacher will not entertain any delay to the presentation such as corrupted files and late group
members (do not give problems, provide solutions to them)
• Do not be late! Be mindful of your group schedule. Alertness is the key.
• If you miss your presentation, you will miss your score for it as well. So, come on time if you do not want to
get zero.
• No one is exempted for the presentation (e.g. you made the p presentations and so you will not
present/speak in front anymore). All members should present.
• Submission of PPT presentations should be the day before the presentations until 5 p.m. only; E-mail it to
me at jrazuelo@ui.phinma.edu.ph with the subject PROJECT PROPOSAL – Strand, EAPP Section, Group

• Further readings and research is recommended to substantiate your presentation
• Sequence and Schedule will be provided; take note of it!
• Get enough sleep before your presentation; prepare ahead of time!
