• The bank was incorporated in August 1994 in the name of 'HDFC Bank
Limited', with its registered office in Mumbai, India. HDFC Bank
commenced operations as a Scheduled Commercial Bank in January
1995.
• HDFC Bank's mission is to be a World Class Indian Bank. The objective
is to build sound customer franchises across distinct businesses so as
to be the preferred provider of banking services.

FINDINGS
• Mostly customers prefer HDFC Bank while taking personal loan.
• Family members are creating more effect on decisions regarding
personal loan.
• Interest rate is main factor consider by customers when taking loan.
• Most of the customer prefers the repayment of loan in higher
duration.
• Most of the customers consider the policies of bank regarding
personal loan.
• Maximum market share for personal loan is with HDFC Bank
• Mostly government employees were preferring for SBI Bank.
SUGGESTIONS & CONCLUSIONS
• According to analysis HDFC Bank`s customers are more satisfied as
compare to other banks, because low interest rate, new schemes and
faster services.
• As comparing with the other banks, I found that SBI Bank is the main
competitor to HDFC Banks. Because SBI public sector bank and has a
good rapport in the market.
• Customers get attracted to the product of HDFC bank on the basis of
Advertisement. It shows the good brand awareness in the public.
SUGGESTIONS
• The bank should target the small business units for whom maintenance of
AQB (Average Quarterly Balance) is not a problem as their segment is not
much penetrated.
• The bank should also target un-tabbed rural market
• Though the bank offers door step banking facility, this fact is also not
known to many customers or they still do not trust this service whatever
the reason. The bank can popularize this service to gain an edge over
nationalized & co-operative banks.
• HDFC bank has much constraint in their policy which stops them to reach
too many customers so they should relief a little pressure from their
policies
