GUIDANCE COUNSELING

The purpose of this study, is


to know the personal problems of the
students and the impacts and
functions of guidance counselling in
Greenfield High School.
INTRODUCTION

Guidance counselling is the process of


helping individuals discover, and develop
their educational, vocational, and
psychological potentialities and thereby to
achieve an optimal level of personal
happiness and social usefulness.
Counselling has an important assumption.
Each individual has the right to shape his
own destiny, and each person’s choice
interest.
The function of those who
(counselors) guide children and young
people is not to effect a compromise
between the requirements of individual on
the one hand. It is rather to orient the
students toward those opportunities
afforded by his/her environment that can
best guarantee to the fulfilment of his/her
personal needs and aspirations.

-There are a big impact in Family
Matters (14 out of 30 students) and
Relationship with Self (14 out of 30
students) that causes a troubles in
school of Grade 10 students of GHS.

-All of the respondents answers that


having a counselor in their school can
help them effectively to assist in their
concerns in times of having a trouble
in school.
Discussion
As what we observed on the outcomes
on our survey we have conducted.
The highest problems student
encountered nowadays 48% of them
having a family matters as well as
the relationship with their self.

98% of students wanted to have a


Study Habits program to assist their
concerns.
