Projectile Motion
When a particle is so projected, that it makes certain
angle with the horizontal, then the motion of the
particle is said to be projectile motion.
The path of a projectile is a parabola and the initial
velocity of the projectile can be resolved into two
components in the horizontal direction and vertical
direction.
Consider a body projected with an initial velocity ‘du’ at
an angle of projection θ . θ is the angle with the
horizontal. Resolve the initial velocity along the
vertical(y) and horizontal(x) direction. The vertical
motion is an accelerated motion whereas horizontal
component remains the same .

Time of flight of projectile : T = 2u sin θ/g

Maximum height attained by the projectile : H = u2 sin2 θ/2g
