BIOGRAPHY

• Born May 30 1892, Calle Hernan Paco Manila


• Pedro Amorsolo & Bonifacia Cueto
• They moved at Daet, Camarines Norte
• 1903 his father died when he was 11 y/o
• He enrolled at University of the Philippines school of
Fine Arts, 17 y/o
• Don Fabian dela Rosa art professor at UP
• He graduated with honors, member of the first
graduating class
• Amorsolo became a professor at UP in his early 20
BIOGRAPHY

• Salud Jeorge, first wife , at the age of 25, with 6


children
• Virgina Guevarra Santos, common-law-wife, with 6
children
• 1935 he married Maria del Carmen, with 8 children
• Amorsolo rented a house at Raon St.
• Azcarraga ( CARLO M. RECTO AVE.)
• Afflicted with Diabetes and Arthritis
• He undergo to a Cataract operation
• 1964 his son Fernando Jr. died from asthma and
tubercolosis
BIOGRAPHY

• 7 years later his son Milo died


• April 24 1972, Amorsolo died due to heart failure
