a. Transcendence = the Adjective Trancedental


and the Noun Transcendence convey the basic
ground concept from the word’s literal meaning
(from Latin), of climbing or going beyond, albeit
with varying connotations in its different historical
and cultural stages.
b. Global Age= The Global Age is a period of time
of history of modern warfare, discovery, upheavals,
political conflicts, depression, alliances, music, arts,
architecture, inventions, and transportation.

c. Human Peron= Is a much complex term which


generally refers to a human being granted recognition of
certain rights, protection, responsibilities, and dignity
above all. Philosophers refer to a human person as the
totally of an individual, possessing awareness, self-
determination, and the capacity to interact with others
and with himself or herself.

attributes such as reason, morality, consciousness or self-
consciousness, and being a part of a culturally
established form of social relations such
as kinship, ownership of property, or legal responsibility

beings having a spiritual experience. We are
spiritual beings having a human experience.”

e. Man= is the general term commonly used


to refer to the entire human race.

f. Interiority= quality of being focused on


one’s inner life and identity.

i. Self-determination= Refers to capability of a


person to make choices and decisions based on
their own preferences, monitor and regulate their
actions, and be goal oriented and self directed.

j. Free will= enable us to do actions whenever we


want to and makes self-determination possible.

k. Consequences= Is the result or effect of an


action or condition.

The most basic definition of human being relates


to the nature of human as animals. Philosophers,
however, believe that the human being is not just
a mere animal. There is something in the human
individual that sets him or her apart from other
beings. These special traits make a human a
distinct individual person.

animals, animals are
fundamentally different
from us humans.

and capabilities- that are not

1. Wealth- Worldly Values but when keep in perspective they
are good and desirable.
2. Pleasure-Worldly Values but when keep in perspective
they are good and desirable.
3. Duty.- The spiritual value of duty, or righteousness, refers to
patience, sincerity, fairness, love. Honesty and similar values.
4. Enlightenment. – the Spiritual value, though, is
enlightenment, by from the wheel of existence. Repeated
existence is the destiny of those who do not achieve
enlightenment.

Atma= Absolute Soul

Law of Karma= action to the


world of matter, which can
be only escape only after
spiritual progress through an
endless series of births. Thus,

according to their KARMA.

= Is an enlightened state wherein one attains true
selfhood and find oneself one with the one the
ultimate reality, the ALL Comprehensive Reality.

= Ultimate Moksha

opposed to lower knowledge that is limited to an

Hindus Duty- is to achieve self-knowledge in order to


achiev self-annihilation and absorption into the
Great Self

HUMAN BEINGS HAVE A DUAL NATURE


1. Spiritual Immortal Essence (Soul).
= considered as Ultimate Real.
=Eternal but bounded by the Law of Karma.
2. Empirical Life and Character (body)
= Considered as nothing more than an Illusion
and even an obstacle to an individual’s
realization of one’s real self.
