PCL
1) GHU Board Configuration

3 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 3

1.1) Configure the GHU board

1) C264 with or without LCD => 2 possible GHU boards

2) GHU attributes

HMI Type :
- Simple : no LCD and LED#4 is not
configurable
- Complete : LCD, LED#4 is configurable and
GHU should be linked to a graphic object
typed Computer Workspace

4 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 4

1.2) GHU Board Sons & Relations

Board status MPS

Set of LED :
LED#4 not configurable if GHU type = Simple

Relation with graphic configuration :

Completed if GHU type = Complete

5 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 5

2) Bitmaps configuration

6 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 6

2.1) What for?

1) On C264 LCD, in bay panels

= > Single Line Diagrams
- static objects (lines, bitmaps)
- animated objects

2) Graphic table for bitmaps (up to 150)

Note : Starting database is containing bitmap table (IEC)

7 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 7

2.2) Bitmap Attributes

Short Name :
Rule : put bitmap index in prefix
Bitmap indes :
Bitmap index = bitmap identification used at
LCD configuration level

Bitmap type :
- single = non-animated
- 5-uple = animated

8 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 8

2.3) Bitmap Representation (1)

Default
Open*
Closed*

* associated
information in
Closed/Set or
Open/Reset state

Note : bitmap max size = 64x64 pixels

9 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 9
2.3) Bitmap Representation (2)

Withdrawn Withdrawn
Default Open Closed
Open Closed
Note : withdrawn = combination of DPS position + withdrawn SPS
10 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 10
3) LCD configuration

11 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 11

3.1) Add / Configure a Computer Workspace

1) Graphic Part / Computer Workspace

2) Attributes

Short Name

L/R password protection :

Operator has to enter password when
changing bay control mode (Local/Remote)

12 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 12

3.2) Add / Configure a Bay Mimic

1) Graphic Part / Computer Workspace

2) Attributes

Short Name

MV bargraph :
Horizontal / Vertical
Module Name display

3) Relations => relation with the represented bay

Mimic rank :
one bay can be represented on 1 or 2
mimics

13 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 13

3.3) Add Graphic Objects in Bay Mimic (1)

1) Typical Bay Mimic (128x128 pixels)

Time :
optional

Mandatory :
- Bay L/R
- Interlock bypass (local activation)
- Synchrocheck bypass (local activation)

Controllable devices :
- LHMI Gen Modules
- up to 9 per mimic

Static graphics :
lines, single bitmaps

Note : no graphics outside of area => C264 failure

14 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 14
3.3) Add Animated Objects in Bay Mimic (2)

2) Add a LHMI Gen Module

3) Configure a LHMI Gen Module

Short Name :
different from displayed name

Control availibility :
Yes = controllable from LCD
4) LHMI Gen Module Sons
Graphic object with datapoint relation
is managed by SPS or DPS

Displayed name
4 characters

Representing bitmap index

3.3) Add Animated Objects in Bay Mimic (3)

5) Add a LHMI Transformer

6) LHMI Transformer configuration

Graphic object with TPI relation

is managed by TPI

Minimum, Current and

Maximum TPI values
are mandatory

Bitmap index

4) LED assignment

17 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 17

4.1) Reminder

1) LED can be animated by SPS or DPS status

13 available LED for Complete HMI

12 available LED for Simple HMI (LED#4 = C264 Local/Remote)

LED can be :
- Off
- On
- Blinking fast
- Blinking slow

18 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 18

4.2) Assign a SPS to LED

1) Under SPS add the relation “has state displayed on LED”

2) Configure and complete the relation “has state displayed on LED”

LED Behaviour per status :
Set / Reset / Invalid behaviour
Off / On / Blinking Slow /
Blinking Fast

Complete the relation

19 > L2-V4-07-C264 LHMI CONFIGURATION-C-02 19

4.3) Assign a DPS to LED

1) Same as SPS except :

LED Behaviour per status :

Closed / OPEN / Invalid behaviour
Off / On / Blinking Slow / Blinking Fast

Note : 1 LED represents only 1 datapoint
