INTRODUCTION
 Biofuels can be derived directly from plants or
indirectly from agricultural , commercial, domestic
and industrial wastes. Biodiesel is an alternative of fuel
. Biodiesel is emerging concept and starting business
of finding environment friendly fuel alternative like
biodiesel will surely help in getting quick success.
PROBLEMS
 Growing demands
 Non-renewable and depleting used up fast
Buming products carbon dioxide which is major cause
for global warming.
Increasing prices
The most intensive problem is , now a days the
resource of petrol and diesel are reducing
continuously.
THE REASONS OF THE BIOFUELS
 Combating climate change
 Responding to higher energy consumption
 Securing energy supply
 Making the most of scare resources
CLASSIFICTION OF THE BIOFUELS
 First generation biofuels : it is also called as
conventional biofuel they are made from things like
sugar, starch, vegetable oil.
 Second generation biofuel : it is also called as advance
biofuel .should grow on marginal land , should not
require a great amount of water or fertilizer.
 Third generation biofuel : unofficial category reserved
for biofuel derived from algae. Algae based biofuel
require a unique production mechanism
Technology are used in biofuel
Different technology is often used to extract the biofuel or
energy from them.
 Thermochemical conversion :
 the frist thermochemical route is known as gasification.
Gasifiction has not new technology and has been used
extensivly.
 Second thermochemical route is known as pyrolsis is
carried out in the absence of oxygen and often in presence
of an intert gas like halogen.
 A third thermochemical route is known as torrefaction is
very similar to pyrolsis and carried out at lower temperture.
BENEFITS OF BIOFUEL
 they are renewable source of energy unlike other
natural resource like coal, peterolium and even
neuclear fuel.
 Biofuels are the best way of redusing the emission of
the greenhouse gases.
 Energy density fossil fuels carry enough energy in a
small enough space to make them very practical for a
no of uses.
MARKETING STRATEGYS OF
BIOFUAL
 Biofuel marketing and the distribustion of biobased
fuel product takes place on a vast.
 Covencing the custmor by advertising , news pepar
and the magzins etc.
 The now a days the other resorce like petrol and diesal
are reducing , so the no idea for the custmor to adopt
theses fuels.
 The overview of member states plan and policies
regarding biofuel deploment in the coming year was
developed, based on information, progress report and
a questionnaire.
COCLUSION
Biofuel can be used for heating, lighting, power and
transport.
prospect of renewable energy are steadily improving in
India with future.
The strategy for achieving these enhanced goals will
mainly depends on the active participation of all
players i.e from government agencies, from finacial
institution to developers and of course a new breed of
energy enterpreneurs.
