CONSULTATION PHASE

• Parish Priest calls for a general assembly.


• GA is open to all parishioners.
• PPC and heads of lay-mandated groups
and orgs: mandatory attendance.
CONSULTATION PHASE

Must answer this basic question:


“What situation in the parish comes to
mind in this particular agendum (Family,
Parish, Youth, etc.)?

• Answers are now consolidated per agendum


(interconnections, duplications, and
overlapping must be aligned appropriately).
• Individuals are welcome to join in the
agenda of their interest.

WHAT?
1. Check the reality of the parish today
2. Evaluation of existing projects/activities
3. Solicit ideas/suggestions for timely and
relevant projects and activities for the
parishioners

HOW?
1. GA: Focused-Group Discussions
2. Pamayanan Visit with Survey Questionnaires
3. Survey Questionnaires via Google Docs
4. Suggestion Boxes / Flyers with SQs
5. VoxPops via Social Media PubMats

DISCERNMENT PHASE

• Parish Priests leads the Pastoral Team (PT*)


for discernment *(PPC, Ministry/Religious,
Devotional Orgs & Pamayanan Leaders)
• DCPA is taken as a whole; seeing the agenda’s
particularity and interconnections
• A moment of prayer is required.

Must answer these questions:


What is God telling you to do?
How do you want to do it?
What are ministries involved?

HOW?
1. Answers the data gathered from the
Consultation Phase
2. Consult the DCPA8 Handbook (Diocesan
Objectives and Plan of Actions/OKRs)
3. PT Deliberations & Interventions
Clustered ministries meet
as a team, who will now
discuss in detail per OKRs—
and translate these to
concrete activities
and programs.
PLANNING PROPER PHASE

• Clustered ministries meet as a team.


• Group designates temporary team
coordinator (Agenda coordinator will be
made after the plan is done).
• Focus on the designated agendum.
• Think of how the ministry can help achieve
the agendum goals.
PLANNING PROPER PHASE
• Review and redefine the goals and action that
were initiated;
• Identify the groups/individuals to be tapped;
clarify the parameters of engagements;
• Check current programs that may be
integrated;
• Present the plan to the PT to synchronize with
other plans

3. Diocesan plans and projects that can be
implemented in the parish
4. Best practices from other vicariates/parishes
