THE RECOMMENDATIONS MADE BY THE
TEAM
LABORATORIES

The school must provide other opportunities for

students to learn aside from the theories learned in
the classroom. They must have hands-on experiences
so that they can actualize what is intangible and turn
it into concrete realities.

Thus, the laboratories play a greater role in the

advancement of learning of students. The BED must
give importance to laboratories, the facilities and
equipment that are needed for actual experiences of
the pupils and students.
There are two laboratory rooms for science subjects,
one each laboratory for speech, Home Economics and
Livelihood Education (HELE) as well as computer
subjects exclusively for the use of the BED pupils and
students. Aside from this, the Grades 7-10 students
are able to use the computer laboratory and the
kitchen used by the college students during their
Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) subjects.

These laboratories have adequate space to

accommodate a maximum of 45 students at a time
and are equipped with more than enough materials,
supplies and equipment
There are provisions to ensure the
upkeep, cleanliness and
maintenance of the laboratories.
Laboratory technicians have enough
background knowledge and skills in
the laboratories including safety
measures.
Exploratory and Specialized Courses for K to 12 TVL
subjects use the college laboratories with state-of-
the facilities. In addition to this, laboratory facilities
are constantly improved and are given top priority in
the budget.

The committee however, recommends that for

safety measures, two exit doors be provided for
computer and speech laboratories and that a full-
time BED computer laboratory technician be hired
with at least two working scholars assigned to the
BED computer laboratory to assist the teachers
during computer laboratory classes.
