INTRODUCTION

Every student’s reason for waking up early
from Monday to Friday and sacrificing
themselves when taking a bath despite of
the coldness is to learn and gain new
knowledge from their teachers in school.
But does the strategies the teacher's using
for teaching are effective learning one's?
Teacher’s strategic approach portrays
a great impact on students’ capacity
to learn. Since the 21st century is
consist of the millennial and the I
students who already adopts the N
modern technology, they found it less T
interesting when they’re just reading R
O
through a text and having a hard time D
in understanding it on their own. U
Some educators tries to adopt the C
existence of using different kind of T
practical assessment so the students I
will actively cope up and participate O
on the lessons. N
Developing and learning ideas is one
of the main goals of the students why I
they go to schools. In order to achieve N
T
this, they need educator who give R
them information in different ways and O
D
different strategies. Teaching is a U
process used by a teacher to C
T
transfer information to their students. I

BACKGROUND OF
THE STUDY
Cultural, economic and societal change creates a
need for different approaches to education.
Globalization, which is increasing international inter
dependence, and the creation of new knowledge,
and the obsolescence of older knowledge, means
that teachers and students alike must be open to ch
ange and new opportunities.
METHOD OF
RESEARCH
The researchers utilized the Descriptive Method of
Research.

According to Burns and Grove (2003), For Glass and Hopkins (1984),

descriptive research is descriptive research can

The researchers utilized the Descriptive Method of
Research.

According to Whatls.com (2016),

correlation is a statistical

extent to which two or
more variables fluctuate
together.
Specifically, this research is METHOD
phenomenological type of qualitative OF
research where you describe an event RESEARH
activity and phenomenon through
conducting interviews and visiting
events or places to know the
participants' perspectives
(Sauro, 2015).
The researchers utilized the controlled
observation method.This type of METHOD
observation method of research let the re OF
searchers decide where the observation RESEARH

The demographic profile or the Student respondents
showed that there were twenty-two (22) who were under 1
years old, Twenty-six (26) who were under 16 years old an
d four (4) who were under 17 years old. It is also shown tha
t there were twenty-six (26) who were female and twenty-f
our (24) who were male.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM NO. 2

How does each type of srategies affect the learning

capacity of thestudents.
The data gathered showed that the use
of contextual activities affect the
learning capacity of Students by being
more interested to their lesson and the
use of contextual activities are
helpful in their studies. It also 02
showed that the students were
intersted with the use of
practical activities in teaching
and also most of the answered
that it is helpful in their studies.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM NO. 3

What are the impacts of

direct teaching and learning
in students comprehending
capacity.
Based on the researchers data that have been collected,
direct teaching and learning does not literally affect the
way the students learn. By thinking of different techniques
, teachers can be able to share their Knowledge to the
students. And it also helps the students review their
incoming topics.

03
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM NO. 4

What strategy brings out

the best of the student.
The data gathered showed that contextual activity
brings the most out of students.
Student-Respondents agreed that most of them are
more engaged and active when the teacher uses
contextual activities as their way of teaching.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM NO. 5

How much information can

can students gain from the
utilization of contextual and
practical activities.
The data gathered showed that the
students gather a lot of information
through t use of contextual activities
wherein 95% of the student-
respondents agree and in addition,
it revealed that students 05
gather a lot of information
through the use practical
activities which students also
agreed.
But based on the data gathered, it
showed that most of the respondents
agreed that students gather a lot of
information when teacher uses
contextual activity teaching rather
than practical activities. 05
