can act to please the customer and
maximize profit.
Steps in Development
of Code of Ethics
• Survey both Employees and Customers
• Develop the code with a guarantee.
• Communicate the Code of Ethics.
• Provide a Follow-up and Feed back.
Survey Both Employees and
Customers
• One must servey the Employees.
• In a large company. A random sample of employees
should be surveyed. The sample should include the
representatives from all levels of every hierarchy.
• For small organizations, all employees can be
interviewed.
• Employees should be asked on which areas of the
organization they believe needs improvement and
how the standard operating procedures could be
revised to help them to perform their jobs better.
• Customers also are needed to be surveyed through
focus groups. Random phone calls. Feedback or
comment notes.
Develop the Code With
Guarantee.
• Can be developed through research findings.
• This framework should address the concerns of both
employees and customers.
• Customers' concerns is about their satisfaction from
the product.
• The Employees" concerns is about how will they
perform their job better.
Proposed Code of Ehtics
• We shall obey all the laws of the community when
conducting business.
• We shall guarantee complete satisfaction with both our
products and services.
• We shall not refuse anyone our goods or services to race,
creed, color, sex, or other personal traits.
• We shall empower all our employees to serve our
customers as they deem appropriate within the
parameters of their job description.
• We shall offer all our employees equal working conditions
and opportunities to advance within the organization.
• We shall continually strive to improve our products and
services through employee and customer feedback.
