PAST :-
Past tense explains about the actions which
were happened and which went on going in
the past. Past tense is used to describe a
person’s biography. Past tense describes
actions that took place in the past.
Activity 1
IDENTIFY THE VERBS IN THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH :

Sachin Tendulkar, the legendary cricketer, was born in Bombay. He evinced

keen interest in cricket quite early in life. He was hailed as a child prodigy.
Ramakrant Achrekar, the celebrated coach in Mumbai, took him under his wings.
He groomed him. Sachin demonstrated his prowess by scoring a triple century for
his school.

Sachin donated the Indian cup when he was nearly a boy . He faced fearsome
Pace bower like WasimAkram and wily spinner like Abdul Qadir with ease.

He created many world records. Sachin bade farewell to cricket in 2013. He
