implementation of ideas. The engineers of this
institute must be ethically sensitive towards
the interest of the society as a whole.

Strength
 Pioneer institute in the Gujarat state offering 6 diploma courses,
located in mid of the city, established and running efficiently
since 1948.

 Institute possesses adequate infrastructure, computer centres,


individual buildings for different departments , staff quarters,
Boys and Girls hostels, SSIP and DIC centres and GTU zonal
office in the campus.

 Institute was awarded with NBA accreditation in 2005 for 3


years in Electronics & Communication as well as
Instrumentation and control braches.

 Well qualified faculties, Efficient Placement Cell, Very active


alumni association, MOUs with Industries and possess all
necessary facilities required by AICTE.

Weakness
 As being affiliated with GTU, restricted possibilities to
incorporate any desired change in curriculum on the demand of
time.

 Cash power of head of the institute is limited to only Rs. 500/-.

 Compulsion for purchase through GEM portal hinders the


progress of the innovative practice.

 More MOUs are being inked with the industries/professional
firms to import hands on training to the students to enhance
the employability.

 Institute possesses very active Alumni Association, which not


only supports the needy students financially but also extends
their expertise on different facets for the overall development of
the students.

 Institute has tailored out the schedule for the finishing school
(Technical) in various disciplines keeping in view the need of the
stack holders, ensuring their easy absorption in the desired
fields of technology.
