• Declared Philippine Independence in Kawit on June 12, 1898
• First President of the Philippines
• born March 30, 1869 in Kawit, Cavite
• died February 6, 1964 in Kawit. Cavite
• Emilio Aguinaldo died of a heart attack at Veterans Memorial
Hospital in Quezon City, Philippines, on February 6, 1964, at the
age of 94. His private land and mansion, which he had donated
the prior year, continue to serve as a shrine to both the revolution
for Philippine independence and the revolutionary himself.

• Emilio Jacinto died on April 16, 1899 at the age of 24. The
cause of his death at such a young age was malaria,
which he had contracted while in Majayjay, Laguna.
• Graciano Lopez Jaena
• one of the leading propagandist in Spain, for reforms in the
Philippines
• leading orator of the Propaganda movement
• editor of La Solidaridad
• born December 29, 1856
• died January 22, 1896 in Barcelona, Spain
• Unfortunately, López Jaena died of tuberculosis on January 20,
1896. His death was followed on July 4th by Marcelo H. del Pilar
and on December 30th of José Rizal by firing squad, thus ending
the great triumvirate of propagandists.
• Gen. Antonio Luna
• brilliant general under Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo during the Philippine
revolution
• born October 29, 1869 Urbiztondo, Manila
• died June 5, 1899 in Cabanatuan
• While investigations were supposedly made concerning Luna's
death, not one person was convicted. Later, General Pantaleon
García said that it was he who was verbally ordered by Aguinaldo
to conduct the assassination of Luna at Cabanatuan. His sickness
at the time prevented his participation in the assassination.

• died December 2, 1899 fighting the Americans at Tirad pass
• Gregorio died on December 2nd, 1899, during the battle of Tirad
Pass. He was shot in his neck while he was leading his men to
cover Aguinaldo's retreat.

• born August 30, 1850 in Cupang, San Nicolas, Bulacan to Julian

• died July 4, 1893 in Barcelona, Spain
• Before he died of tuberculosis caused by hunger and enormous
privation, Del Pilar rejected the assimilationist stand and began
planning an armed revolt.

by musketry.
• In conclusion most heroes died on a natural
cause while Jose Rizal died by execution
using a gun. But he did not die just for nothing
he gave the pilipino the reason to fight for our
country. He gave us reason to fight for our
freedom.untill now His legacy is still alive.
