Some stories are enjoyed every time
when you listen to it .
Weaving story is an art
Characters: Who is in the story?
Setting/Place: Where does the story take place?
Time: When does the story happen?
Problem: What is it that one or more characters wants to do or wants to
happen by the end of the story?
Events: What happens in the story that helps the characters solve the
problem?
Moral : Relating to principles of right and wrong in behavior.
Objective
Creativity and imagination.
The ability to identify the elements of a story plot,
characters, setting, and theme
Aids in reading comprehension, leads to a deeper
understanding and appreciation of stories, and helps
students learn to write stories of their own.

The truth is our stories don’t always come out perfectly the first time, second
time or 10th time so you keep going and retell the stories until it sparkles.
Rules to abide with:
1. Groups will get to pick up an envelope with a slip inside
mentioning the setting of their story.
2. Each group would be given 30 minutes to prepare their story.
3. Each group would present their story their own way.
4. Each Parent would be given a star to put on the ‘STAR
ACIEVERS’ chart after the entire activity is over.
5. Parents are requested to put one star for the story of their choice
judiciously.
6. Kindly applaud and appreciate effort put in by each participant.
7. Refrain from Photography/Videography to respect the privacy
of the students.

Helping Words: glowing eyes, superpowers, special
gift, mission
Setting: In a boat
Characters: people, friends, ship, fish
Beginning of the story: When I was coming downhill in a
boat………..
Helping Words: thrilled, waves, splash, drowned, finally
