BIOLOGICAL

AEROBIC
PROCESS
Hello!
We are L & V
Chill! Let’s talk about BAP for now.

2
1.
What is BAP?
Biological Aerobic Process

3

All biological waste treatment processes
involve the decomposition of
biodegradable wastes by living microbes
which use these wastes as their food
source for growth.

4
How can they (microbes) do that?

◍ Excrete specialized enzymes that digest

biodegradable waste constituents (e.g.
Cellulose and other complex
polysaccharides, proteins and fats)
into simple nutrients (e.g. Sugars,
amino acids, fatty acids), which they
absorb.

5
Aerobic and
Anaerobic
Be an anaerobic in this world full of aerobic.

6
Biological AEROBIC Process

With the presence of Oxygen, waste is

decomposed into CO2, H2O and heat.

7
Biological AEROBIC Process

Relatively Dry
High Solids
Content Right balance Good porous
(around 60% of carbon to physical
moisture nitrogen (and structure
content) other mineral
nutrients)

8
Oxygen is often supplied
passively through the
presence of air or through
mechanical turning.

In mechanical biological
treatment systems, air is
usually blown or drawn
through material.
9
Biological AEROBIC Process

◍ Accelerated aerobic processes require a net input of

energy to supply the oxygen required. A large amount
of biologically produced heat is created as microbes
respire, and are associated with high processing
temperatures of 60 – 70°C.

reduces the mass of
waste and partially
reduces its
biodegradable content

Composting Towers

APPLICATION
specialist turning
machines comprising
rotating drums with
tines, augers, or Agitated Bays and
elevated-face
conveyors Extended Beds
During the turning
process material can be
moved along the length of
a bay or processing
building in a continuous
flow fashion

SlidesCarnival icons are
editable shapes.

This means that you can:

● Resize them without
losing quality.
● Change fill color and
opacity.
● Change line color, width
and style.

Isn’t that nice? :)

Examples:

😉
Now you can use any emoji as an icon!
And of course it resizes without losing quality and you can
change the color.

How? Follow Google instructions
