 Making a Difference in your Community

 There is a certain responsibility that comes from being educated, and
that is the challenge to take what you have learned, and to make a
positive difference in your own community. So what can you do?
• You can help others, by participating in or encouraging the
development of community programs.
• You can get involved locally and nationally, by being a active
citizen. From simple thing such as voting to getting involved in
local or national political issues.
• You can help to preserve the environment.
• You can set an example and be an inspiration to others.
 “Be an inspiration to those around you—someone they want to emulate.
Then strive to be better yourself. Not for yourself, but for those who would
look to you as a role model.” Doug Pamenter, instructor
