CEIR - the spokesman for the European valve industry

• Currently CEIR is the sole body representing the European valve

industry (14 national association members / 340 companies)

• CEIR is recognised by the European Commission and Orgalime since it

is the sole body representing the European valve industry

• CEIR President seats, as Liason Officer, at CEN / TC 69 (The Industrial

Valves European Technical Standardisation, under the Presidency of Mr.
Yves Birembaut).

CEIR has recently adopted, thanks to the cooperation of the French

Association PROFLUID, two new guidelines published by CETIM
and dedicated to the valve community:

• Guidelines for application of SIL concepts to valve equipment
