between Van chester from Jandel?
If we put symbol to
represent the relation of
their distance of walk,
we use the symbol > for
greater than and < for
less than.

divide it? Why?
Group Activity
Group 1: The pupils will recite a poem on
comparing fractions like:

Fraction
I have learned that 1/4 is greater than 1/6
1/2 is greater than 1/4
And 1/6 is lesser than 1/3
I’ll never understand these.
If not for my teacher dear
Who teaches us so clear.
Group 2: The pupils will be given
a two picture of pizza dough and
picture of toppings. Pupils will fill
the pizza dough with toppings
base on the equivalent fractions.
Then they will compare it infront
of the class which among those
two pizzas has a bigger part with
toppings.
Group 3: The pupils will be given a pictures of set of Mangoes
and they will answer the following questions.

Write the equivalent

fraction of each part of
mangoes encircled in
each set and use
relation symbol to
compare them.
Answer
Group 4. Draw 1/2 of pizza and 1/4 of pizza. Compare which is
bigger.
Group 5: Compare the following fractions using relation
symbols.
Compare the following using relation symbols >,< or =. Write
your answer on your drill board.
