Research
&
Writing a Research Paper
REQUIRMENT
 Three options available
 Conference Paper
 Conference Paper ( for a well
recognized forum e.g. IEEE)
 Journal Paper (at least one or
more international publications)
RULES
 Topics – Must be approved

 Group of max 4 students with at
least one DL
METHODOLOGY
 Concentrate on two steps
 Data collection
 Data Analysis
HOW TO DO DATA COLLECTION
STEP 1
 Which data collection tool to use?
 Only internationally accepted data

your life simple)

Pakistani environment
STEP 3

study (use easy topic)
HOW TO DO DATA COLLECTION
STEP 4
 If pilot study is successful go for field
survey or case study
STEP 5

your research coordinator)

 APA/Harvard for journal paper

Length of the Paper

 5-6 pages for conference paper
 14-16 pages for journal paper
Major Portions of a Paper

 Literature Review
 Research Methodology
 Findings
 Conclusions and Future Research
