THE QUEEN
The Queen has ruled for longer than any
other Monarch in British history, becoming
a much loved and respected figure across
the globe. Her extraordinary reign has seen
her travel more widely than any other
monarch, undertaking many historic
overseas visits. Known for her sense of duty
and her devotion to a life of service, she has
been an important figurehead for the UK
and the Commonwealth during times of
enormous social change.
Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip
Arthur George; born 14 November 1948), is
CHARLES, PRINCE OF WALES the heir apparent to the British throne as the
eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II. He has been
Duke of Cornwall and Duck of Rothesay
since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-
serving heir apparent in British history. He is
also the longest-serving Prince of Wales,
having held that title since 1958.

OF WALES
Diana Frances Spencer (1 July
1961 – 31 August 1997) was the
first wife of the heir to the British
throne, Charles Prince of Wales,
and the mother of Prince
William and Prince Harry. Diana's
activism and glamour made her
an international icon and earned
her an enduring popularity as well
as an unprecedented public
scrutiny, exacerbated by her
tumultuous private life.
