 ABSTRACT
 This paper focuses on GAS LEAKAGE DETECTION and
AUTOMATIC BOOKING of LPG using IoT.
 LOAD SENSORS and GSM module are used for monitoring
and booking of new LPG gas.
 To notify leakage, an alarm goes off and gives SMS to the
particular.
 At the same time, the regulator knob and the main power supply
shuts down.
 The exhaust fan is automatically switched ON until the system gets
refreshed.
 OBJECTIVES
 Detection of LPG gas level within the cylinder and sending the
notification by SMS to user.
 Automatic booking of the Gas cylinder.
 Real time gas observation system.
 LPG leak is detected through the sensor and information is sent to
the user by SMS.
 Users don’t need to enter any info manually as all the specified
information is stored.
 To offer security for home, hotels, industries, etc.

 EXISTING SYSTEM

 The technique detects the modification in the concentration of

the LPG and activates a visual alarm once it exceeds the
threshold worth.
 Further, it sends an alarm message through a
radiofrequency(RF) system to the receiver module.
 PROPOSED SYSTEM
 The system is designed with various features which is
implemented using arduino R3 and C2000 Piccolo MCU.
 The device monitors the load of the gas level and displays in
the alphanumeric display.
 It also detects the gas leakage by using the gas sensor (MQ-6)
and performs the needed prevention activities as programmed.
 This includes an additional feature of booking a new LPG
cylinder when the gas level becomes critically low and sends an
alert message to the user using the GSM module.

The leakage in pipe is detected using the MQ-6
sensor which is interfaced with the android
application .User gets the notification when
leakage is detected in pipe and respected actions
can be taken.

detects the level of LPG gas in the cylinder and
when the level of gas level reduces under certain
level the notification is sent to the user and the gas
agency
