"someone who is in charge of providing

guidance, explanations and instructions about
attractions and helping the needs of other
tourists”

 In general, guides or tour guides are defined as everyone who leads an
organized group for a short period of time or a long period of time.
The Task Guide has several specifications depending on what task he is
currently doing (according to his ability). A special guide at a particular
location is called a Local Guide who is usually a permanent officer at that
location

Tour guides are professions in the field of tourism. Tour guides are also called tour guides
in English. In Indonesia, a national organization which facilitates this profession has been
formed, namely the Indonesian Tour Guides Association or HPI. This organization has a
network to all provinces in Indonesia. In some regions a number of similar organizations
have been formed locally.
So that in the future Indonesia can further improve its services in the field of guides.
