Students Empowerment Project 2020.Bonus Lecture
 PROJECT OBJECTIVES
• This Project is to teach students of LIC Practical Application Skills on how to start an e-commerce or
online Business with just a smart phone. This project will teach them about how to run an online business
with a single mobile phone and how to make payments online in order to pay for goods and services and
how to generate sustainable income doing it.
• Students that undergo this lecture will become proficient in online payment systems or online banking and
mobile security system.
• Students can be able to take these skills to their respective villages and be self employed.
• This Payment system discussed in this lecture can also be used for a variety of applications and platform.
This project series aims to increase and develop the computer literacy knowledge and skills of Lao youths
and add to the over development of the Country.
 FIRST STEP

• Register an account with your email and
• Lao phone number .It can be done in 5 mins.
• Paypal is an online payment platform that you can
• use to buy anything you want to buy online.
• It can be game credits, books, phones, personal
• And house hold items. It is very flexible and easy to use.
 SECOND STEP
• Go to BCEL Bank and open an account with your Lao ID Card or Passport.

• Minimum deposit is 50,000 kip.
• Download the BCEL ONE APP from google play.

 STEP THREE FINAL STEP
• Link your paypal Account to your BCEL One Card
• And start to make payments.

• To add a new debit card:

• Log in to your PayPal account with your email address and password.
• Click the Wallet link near the top of the page.
• Click on Link a credit or debit card and then click on Debit or credit card.
• Enter your card number, type, expiration date, CVV and billing address.
• Click Link card.
VERIFY YOUR PAYPAL BY ADDING YOUR BANK CARD.
Fill in your BCEL One Card Details in the following box
 CONFIRM YOUR CARD IN YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT.
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2.Go to Profile >> Link/Edit Credit Card.
3.Provide your Debit Card details in the form presented on the page (Card Type, Card
Number, Expiry date, Name on card and CVV/CVC).
4.Some money will be charged against your card for authorization. This money shall be
refunded to your account within 3-5 business days.
5.To verify your Debit Card for PayPal transactions, you will be asked to enter a 4 digit
PIN code. Click on verify your credit card. Obtain a copy of your bank statement, either
online or from the ATM/Bank. There will be two transactions from PayPal. One of them
will contain a Transaction ID similar to PPXXXXCODE. Copy the digits XXXX and
paste it in the verification window.
YOU CAN NOW ADD MONEY TO PAYPAL FROM YOUR
DEBIT CARD.
