carried.
3. Most Air freighters are “Liners”.

AIRWAY BILL

An airway bill is a bill of lading which covers both


domestic and international flights transporting goods to a
specified destination.

Included in the document are the


terms and conditions,
limitations of liability,
shipping instructions,
description of commodity, and
applicable transportation charges.
Bill of Lading
It is non-negotiable document indicating that the
carrier has accepted the goods listed and obligates
itself to carry the consignment to the airport of
destination according to specified conditions
International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)

It is an agency of the United Nations that relates to principles


and techniques of international air navigation and encourages
the planning and development of international air transport to
ensure safe and orderly growth.
The ICAO Council adopts standards and recommended
practices concerning air navigation, prevention of unlawful
interference, and facilitation of border-crossing procedures for
international civil aviation.
