i wanted to contribute to his
village's betterment and began the ROSE
Computer Academy when he was only 19
years old. The fully-furnished lab has 10
computers that are used to teach computer
skills. Gore than 200 students have
successfully completed the courses. ROSE
also has coaching classes from first grade
through graduation, and over 80 students have
gone to those classes. Amit's plans are to open
branches all over India to educate children,
spread computer literacy, and enable students
to easily earn a livelihood.

Amit·s academy has so far trained 300
students from his village, offering
courses such as Basic computing, Java,
Graphic Designing, Tally, C++ and many
others. His is the only academy in Palam
Vihar, Gurgaon which offers different
kinds of computer courses under one
roof, working 18 hours a day. Some of
his students have also gone ahead and
opened their own enterprises, while
others have taken up jobs. Some start

 When Satya Vyas completed his BTech in
metallurgy and materials engineering from IIT
Roorkee two months ago, his parents were very
happy. As is usual with bright students at India·s
premier technological institute, he had landed a
lucrative job offer from a multinational company.

far as offshore engineering services are concerned.
Gy parents were very happy. The basic package
