momentum linier adalah momentum sudut. Momentum
sudut merupakan besaran vektor.
Besarnya momentum sudut dinyatakan:

dapat ditentukan dengan kaidah putaran sekrup atau “Jika keempat jari menyatakan arah gerak rotasi,
dengan aturan tangan kanan maka ibu jari menyatakan arah momentum sudut”.
