are groomed through related intensive training programs as per career planning in order to
assure positions of progressively higher responsibilities. In-company, in-country and
overseas training facilities are used for the development of our team.

Motivation
An important part of the retention of staff, reducing staff turnover and
minimizing absenteeism at work is ensuring that staff are properly motivated. This is not as
easy as it sounds. At first glance, we might be tempted to think that merely increasing
wages is the way to motivate! Not so. Most thinkers on the subject would argue that
motivation is a far more complex issue than merely 'money‘.
Team-work
We believe in team work and the participation of each person working for
WinWay®. For this purpose, our interflow management meeting system has been
Developed. During the meetings the interflow teams monitor performance, suggest
improvements, identify problems and suggest solutions and preventive measures. This
system developed by WinWay®. ensures participation of each individual in the
process of continuous improvement and development of operations.

Quality-concept

WinWay® believes in satisfying its customer. Quality is ensured at every

stage of the manufacturing process due to our in-process quality management system.
WinWay® not only ensures that quality is maintained in production system, it rather
manages quality at every forum and every job. For this purpose the whole of the company
collectively and individually has been knit in a customer- supplier relationship which
means satisfying the next individual in the line of operation in respect of quality on the job.
This creates a continuous check and rectification system.
Welfare

and More clean environment in which to work and for developing a sense of
belonging and high morale.

A Research Study

Studies show over 90% of people have different sized feet. Despite feet being the same
length other dimensions vary with the individual foot. Activity of the foot will also change the shape of identical feet
in accordance with the structure and function of the appendage. The idea of a perfect fit is not a reality. Because
distribution or proportions of foot mass differ with individuals, which mean linear measurement such as length and
breadth of the foot alone, are inadequate. It is important shoemakers consider mass and volume of feet if an exact fit
is to be afforded. To ensure a best fit, measurements are taken at strategic locations and the shoemaker uses both
linear as well volume measurement to construct a shoe. The modern last is made in three dimensions although it is
not a direct replica of the foot. Instead it is made with production requirements, in mind. The last maker may take up
to 35 measurements before the model last can be made. A shoe fitter may concentrate on length, ball width, heel, top
line, arch and instep. The shoe is expected to wear well, feel well, keep its shape with wear, retain its style character,
tread properly, allow for reasonable foot freedom, maintain both foot and shoe balance, remain structurally intact.
These features are not always dependent on the quality of materials or components, or the manufacturing process.
Unit 1
Upper of the Shoe

All parts or sections of the shoe above the sole that are stitched or otherwise joined
together to become a unit then attached to the insole and outsole. The upper of the shoe
consists of the vamp or front of the shoe, Uppers are made in a variety of different materials,
both natural and synthetic. Leather became the obvious cover of choice because it allowed
air to pass through to and from the skin pores thereby providing an opportunity to keep the
feet, cool.
Process Of Stitching the Upper of Shoe
Machines required in
making the Upper of the Shoe.

In this unit the upper of the shoe is made. First of all big leather sheets are cut into
small pieces according to the designs given by the designers. The Leather sheets are cut
with the help of the machinery. The pictures and working of the machinery are given below.
Every step is being checked, inspected over the period of time, particular employees are
hired in order to check processes that are the shoes to the standard.

Bundle Cutting Machine

Suitable for cutting shoe-making materials, leather into different widths

Hydraulic Swing Arm Cutting Machine

Used to cut up plastic soles, leather, fiber, cotton fiber

Four-Station Lasting Cutting Machine

1) This machine can make rough cutting of 2 pairs of lasts

2) The machine, with features of high rigidity, strong abrasion resistance

and stability and high yield, is an indispensable model for mass production

Sewing Machines

A quality sewing machines.

Unit 2
Insole Stitching
(inner sole)

A layer of material shaped to the bottom of the last and sandwiched

between the outsole (or mid sole) and the sole of the foot inside the shoe. The insole covers
the join between the upper and the sole in most methods of construction and provides
attachment for the upper, toe box linings and welting. This provides a platform upon which
the foot can operate and separates the upper from the lower. The insole board is necessary in
shoes that are constructed using cemented or Goodyear welt techniques because it is the
attachment for upper and lower components. The majority of insole boards are made of
cellulose and are treated with additives to inhibit bacterial growth. Athletic shoe wear will
often have a sock liner, a piece of material placed over the top of the insole board (glued in
position or removable.

Machines of Unit 1 are used in this Process.

UNIT 3
Sole Attachment

In this Unit the sole of the shoe is attached with the upper of the
shoe. In order to make a complete fine shoe. Every step is being checked, inspected over
the period of time, particular employees are hired in order to check processes that, are
the shoes to the standard

Plastic Sole Injection Molding Machine

One color and two-color plastic sole (with uppers) injection molding machines

Shoes Heelpiece Making Machine

With all computer control system, the machine screen displays with LCD and the attaches the
Heel with the Sole.
UNIT 4
Polishing Packaging & Labeling.

Polish and Finishing Machine

Label Cutting Machine

Laser cutting machine is used in label cutting industry. And

stitching the labels on the shoe.
