V The whole rotor is supported by two non
self-aligned roller bearings, housed in Plummer blocks, which are located outside the body. V Shaft is made of special steel and is supported at both ends by means of two roller bearings. The central part of crusher is called rotor. The rotor consists of a heavy shaft machined and assembled with MS discs and spacers in between discs. V Bearing life for selected bearings is 233345.8 hrs. V As per analysis of shaft and rotor assembly done in ansys, deflection values of the shaft and rotor assembly are 0.008637 and 0.006404.
