What does the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors


(RICS) do?
Its an organisation for professionally qualified
surveyors. The RICS as part of their role help to set,
maintain and regulate standards - as well as providing
impartial advice to Governments and policymakers.
Qualified RICS members are recognised
by designatory letters:
FRICS  (Fellow) 
A person who has completed unique projects or
contributed significantly to the profession.
MRICS (Member)
A person who has the APC (Assessment of
Professional Competence) this is a practical
training combined with academic qualifications
AssocRICS (Associate)
RICS Associate is an entry-level qualification
