sampling. The study is sample survey consisting of small sized sample of

Finding From Study
• Out of 150 respondents we found that age group between 25-30
years respondents are investing more as compare to others. And
majority of the respondents are salaried and business man.
• Out of 150 respondents 85 are not invested in Mutual Fund and its
operations.
• Out of the total respondents, majority of respondents want to get
return between 15% to 20%.
• Out of total respondents 65 are invest in Mutual Fund and out of
this 43 are used Equity Scheme
• In mutual fund majority of the respondent prefer systematic
investment plan because of the long term gain. And they more
prefer growth option while investing in different mutual fund
investment.


Recommendation
• The company should focus and create awareness of SIP / STP
among individuals of different occupations, educational
qualifications and different income segments.
• Investors should be encouraged in order to invest a higher
percentage of their monthly income and savings into SIP /
STP.
• Tax Benefits is another factor, which could make the investors
to invest.
• There are large numbers of higher income class who are not
exposed to SIP / STP; AMC should try to cater them.


Conclusion
• If Mutual Funds gain investors trust, money will follow. It is
important to gain mind-share rather than wallet share of the
investors.
• The future is very bright. This industry is very important role
to play in providing alternative avenues to the entire gamut
of investors in a scientific and professional manner.
• Mutual Fund industry has been evolving very well for an
important reason that, today we have the best system and
procedure, good regulatory mechanism, use of technology,
transparency and sharing of details and dissemination of
information at an improved level.
