Quality Inclusive Education
Our Goal
To promote access to quality inclusive education in government schools
To strengthen the capacities of existing government schools
To improve participation of children, their parents and the community in
education planning
To improve learning levels of children
To reduce drop out rates of children
What We Do
We train a core group of master trainers at the local District Institutes of Education
and Training (DIETs) who in turn train child educators and anganwadi workers
sensitising them against gender and caste discriminating practices. We also build
local level groups such as village education committees, mothers groups, parent
teacher associations, children’s clubs which lend support and monitor inclusive
learning environments.

What We Do
We distribute relief supplies during emergencies, assist with long term rehabilitation efforts as
communities rebuild their lives after a natural disaster has occurred. We also work in these
disaster prone communities to ensure that they are prepared to deal with a natural disaster
before it occurs again.
