The main problem of our case is

DISCRIMINATION or INEQUALITY. It has been

practiced for a long time and at the same time
recognized as a big problem. Many organizations were
formed; projects, advertisements, & campaigns were
made; and yet, as of now, discrimination isn·t eradicated
from the society. In order for us to stop discriminating,
we all need to start with ourselves. It does not
necessarily mean that we·re going to change our
personality completely. We just need to be open-minded
and learn to accept what is different or unknown to us.
Yes, we differ by many things such as age, gender, sex,
jobs, social status, etc; but remember that we all belong
to the same specie ² we are all HUMAN BEINGS. As
long as we remember this simple thought, we can slowly
make i
  a history.
As Christians, we follow the customs, traditions,
and laws stated and practiced in the Bible. We also get our
values from it and that some constitutional, moral, &
natural laws are based on it. Philippines is mostly composed
of Roman Catholics and yet we have been deviating two of
the Great Laws of God one example is by discriminating
other people. Remember that the two greatest
commandments are (1) Love the Lord your God with all your
heart, mind, and soul and (2) Love your neighbours as
yourself. Analyzing the current state of our world, it is
clear that we·re not really following the two ²especially
the second one. Take note that we are all love by God and
that we are all created in His image and likeliness. As what
Galatians 3: 28 states ´There is neither Jew nor Greek,
slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in
Christ Jesus.µ
As a group, we say that we need to stop
unnecessary & irrelevant discrimination. We need to
respect each other, regardless of our sex, age,
race, abilities, etc. We need to learn to accept what
is different or unknown to us. We all feel the same
things such as joy, pride, hate, love; for we are all
just human beings. If we're not united nor at peace
with each other, problems would remain rampant;
then the future might be dark and chaotic.
After all the researching and brainstorming, we
realized as a group that discrimination is a learned
process. Our bases for it vary in each individual. It may
come from our own standards, our tradition, our culture,
and other biases, also, discrimination isn·t synonymous to
prejudice nor stereotyping but these three are relatively
connected.

Removing discrimination takes a long time. If we not

act now, the generations to come would inherit our
mistakes/misinterpretations/misperception and the cycle
of discrimination continues. We need to stop being
ignorant & narrow-minded so that we won·t be
discriminating other people ² intentional or unintentional.
