POLICY

• IOEC publish an HSE Policy and Commitment,


available in various languages including English
and Persian. The policy is approved by the
Managing Director, and reviewed annually,
and/or within six months of the appointment of a
new Managing Director.

• The policy is available in a wall-mounted format


and displayed in prominent positions throughout
the company.

THE HSE POLICY AIMS

• Instill and promote safety consciousness amongst


employees and sub-contractors to prevent incidents.

• Implement innovative measures to continuously


improve our safety practices.

• Provide the best possible care in design,


construction, installation, transportation and
maintenance of equipment and facilities.

• Regularly striving to update and refine our HSE


procedures.

• Conduct effective HSE training.


POLICY
THE HSE POLICY AIMS

• Continue to operate a pro-active stance towards


Health & Safety matters and continue to maintain
liaison with the HSE and other relevant bodies.

• Make arrangements for ensuring safety and absence


of risk to health in connection with, welding &
cutting, lifting, transport and load out of substances
used at fabrication yards and activities in concrete
weight coating factory.

• Classification, analysis and investigation all


incidents relating to HSE including minor cases and
the cause of any incidents within the company;
instituting practicable remedial measure to prevent
recurrences and further risk reduction if needed.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

• Minimize the generation of hazardous waste and


handle all waste in an environmentally sound
manner according to national and international
regulations.

• Prevent releases, spills and leaks. Take immediate


containment measure in the event of accidental
discharges.

• Restore the environment on work accomplishment


in compliance with enforced statutory requirements
and according to contractual commitment.
• Encourage recycling and re-use of materials.

RESPOSIBILITIES

The Project Management Team (PMT) is responsible for


the project by using the available resources to achieve
outstanding performance in completing the work and
attaining the following HSE aims.

Every Manager is responsible for ensuring that all


employees and sub-contractors are aware, and have an
access to all policies and procedures as well as all
relevant legislative requirements.

The IOEC Sub-contractors shall reflect the
