I.

Recruitment / Appointment

1. Age Relaxation
(a) 5 years in case of direct recruitment.
(b) For direct recruitment in Group ‘C’ and
‘D’ posts, the departmental candidates
belonging to SC/ST may be allowed to
compete with candidates from the open
market up to the age of 45 years.(40
years for general candidates).
(c) 10 years for physically handicapped
SC/ST candidates.
2. No relaxation in qualification and/ or
minimum number of marks/ grade.

3. Relaxations available.
(a) Minimum standard may be separately
set.
(b) further relaxation in case of non-
technical and quasi technical Groups ‘C’
and ‘D’ services/posts.
(c) Relaxation in the period of experience
prescribed to be indicated in the
advertisement/requisition.
II. Promotion.

1. Age relaxation: 5 years.


(If upper age limit not exceeding 50
years is prescribed for promotion to a
service )
2. No lower qualifying marks/lesser
standard of evaluation for SC/ST
candidates in any departmental
examination.
III. Fee Concession. Full exemption of
any fees for admission to any
examination for recruitment / selection.

IV. Traveling allowance.

V. Transfer to the posts of peons.

VI. General pool accommodation.


1. Age Relaxation

3 years in case of direct recruitment.

2. Minimum standards may be relaxed in


written examinations and interviews in
respect of OBC as in the case of SC/ST
candidates.
1. Age concession:
For Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ deduction of period of
service in armed forces from actual age and if
the resultant age does not exceed the
prescribed maximum age by more than 3
years but not less than 6 months in any case.
2. Relaxation in age limit:
Through competitive exam: 3 years
for disabled for Group C.
Through employment exchanges for
C&D up to 45 years and 50 years for SC/ST.
3. Evidence of age / qualification:
Certificate from DG,Resettlement, MOD.
4. For Group A&B by direct recruit:
Relaxed by the length of military service increased by
three years with service not less than 6 months and on
completion of assignment, physical disability or
invalidment after 5 years of service but resultant age
does not exceed 3 years and it is 5 years for those who
rendered 5 years service.
5. Concession in educational qualifications:
for group D with 3 years of service- exempted.
For Group C with 3 years of service- authority may relax
according to suitability.
Matriculate with 15 years of service will be considered for
minimum qualification is graduate

promotion.
7. Relaxation in general standard for selection.
8. Exemption from payment of application/examination
fee
9. Special concession to disabled Ex-servicemen:
•Priority in appointment
•Relaxation in medical standards
•Relaxation in age limit
•Evidence of age/qualifications
•Employment on sponsorship by DG E&T and
• Employment Exchanges.
•Disabled during peace time are also eligible.
•Rehabilitation of disabled IPKF personnel.
•Benefit for those who are already in service for higher
posts.
•Reckoning of past military service for eligibility for HBA
and pensionary entitlements in civil employment.
•Travelling allowance concession for handicapped for
interviews.
•Upper age limit 5 years on satisfying eligibility condition.
•Participation in National / Inter national sports events and
coaching camps will be treated as on duty including sports
conducted by CCS board.
•Entitlement of Rail/ Air accommodation.
•Daily Allowance
•Special Casual Leave 30 days for National / Inter national
sports events and 10 days for Ministerial / Departmental
tournaments.
•Special Casual leave for injured during sports.
•Incentive increment Maximum 5 1 for national and 2 for
international events.
•Incentive increment to refrees , umpires and coaches.
•Facilities to managers and coaches.
•Financial assistance to participate in international events.
Educational qualifications for the lowest levels i.e.
Group ‘D’ and LDC.

No BAN on compassionate allowance.

appearance in type writing test for apprentices.
