$50 Million Supporting Tasmania’s
Innovation Initiatives
“The Federal Government will commit $20 million
over five years – to be matched by the CSIRO – and
an investment of $5 million from the Tasmanian
Government to continue the Centre’s groundbreaking
work.

“The Tasmanian ICT Centre supports research

activities which increase our ability to understand and
respond to complex inter-related issues such as
water, coastal assessment, energy, climate and food
production in a water and energy constrained future.
