 Experiential

learning on renewable energy sources is basically a two month training program which develop our skills in the field of renewable energy through & experience by learning in various field like solar thermal, solar PV, bio energy, densification, gasification etc. It also devlope employment opportunities.

Following activity performed during training Solar drying of chips and packaging A visit of photovoltaic installation, sarada Formation of briquettes by saw dust, wheat husk, corn cobs for testing and analysis Training hi-tech polyhouse at RCA ,Udaipur

1.We take 10 Kg Potato 2.Make chips 3.Dry it in solar dryer 4.Weighing 5.Packaging 5.Saleing

Briquettes can b made by two mthod 1.Binder method:It can be made by using binding material like tar. 2.Binderless method:It can be made without using binding material. But it require high temprature.

Buying of saw dust Open drying of saw dust for 2 days Making of briquettes from piston press (binder less) briquetting machine

The polyhouses are constructed with the help of ultraviolet plastic sheets The structure is prepared with the bamboos or iron pipes. Generally the length of the polyhouse is 25-30 feet and width 4-5 feet. The direction of polyhouse is always East to West, so that the maximum sunshine is available.

The point of view of earning more profit only such offseason crops should be grown, which are being sold at higher prices in the market. The crops grown under the polyhouse are safe from unfavourable environment and hailstorm, heavy rains or scorching sunshine, etc. The humidity of polyhouse is not adversely affected by evaporation resulting in less requirement of water insects and pests control is also easy and less expensive.

Constructing a tunnel below the earth of poly house. Covering the northern wall of the house by jute clothing. Covering whole of the polyhouse with jute cloth during night Fitting solar energy driven device in polyhouse.

Removing the internal air or polyhouse out of it in a natural manner. Changing the internal air into external air by putting the fan on. Installation of cooler on eastern or Western Wall not only keeps temperature low but maintains proper humidity also. Running water-misting machine can control the temperature of the polyhouse.

There are 4 hi-tech poly house . Each has a area of 00m2 . one of them is of zero energy in which tomato& cherry tomato are grown. Three of them are of forced circulated type in which cucumber, red & yellow capsicum are grown One another poly house is there in which seedling preparation is done
