The Fox and the Crow

A Fox once saw a Crow fly off with a piece of cheese i its beak and settle on a branch of a tree. The Fox wanted that piece of cheese. So, he tricked the Crow "Good day, Mistress Crow," he cried. "You are just s beautiful. I am sure that your voice must be nice just as you figure does. Please sing for me that I may greet you as th Queen of Birds." The Crow began to sing her best. But the moment sh opened her mouth, the piece of cheese fell to the ground. The Fox snapped up the cheese. "That will do," said the Fox. "That was all I wanted. I will giv you a piece of advice for the future: "Do not trust flatterers."

The Boy Who Cried Wolf A boy, who watched a flock of sheep near a village, brought out the villagers three or four times by crying out, "Wolf!
