A Lan-Based Examination Management System

The study will focus on creating exam with time limit and displaying exam results after answering it. The system has a server to choose a subject to be taken by the examinees and give time limit. Only the instructors that is currently logged-in shall be visible and is available for giving a task to the examinees. Students are only allowed to answer the given test and answer it until to the time limit given by the server. After answering the questions and end by the time limit the result of the exam will automatically display and you will see the number of correct and the number of mistakes. The system will also automatically encode the grade of the examinees.

LAN-based examination dedicated for Mary the Queen College of Pampanga for the College of Information Technology and Information Systems aims to provide professors to perform exams through computers connected to a common server via LAN which is administered by the professors. A keyboard or mouse will be used to answer examination questions presented on the computer screen. The benefits of this study Lan Based Examination System . For the staff, it also saves more time and energy because it simply aid their tasks with ease. It will eliminate written exams which are prone to much trouble. It will also do the automatic recording of students exams score at its database, which are very convenient and not time consuming.

In our own opinion this system will somehow improve several difficulties that some of the faculty members are facing nowadays. In effect the system will lessen the burden of the faculty, instead of making a return examination and make a several copy of this the professor will only input question into the computer server and it will randomly distribute it to the other computer to be taken by the examinees.

As of now, the system of enrollment in some schools is still disorganized. it is composed of a manual system. Directress used manual system in recording and retrieving students information. She also has information about students payment. In fact, she does all the record keeping just by using ballpen and columnar sheet. On the other hand, Registrar Department also used manual system as a way of recording and retrieving student information. Another department is Accounting Office that administers students payment manually.

Enrollment process really affects the students especially when enrollment comes, and so we aim to improve and solve the problems of the enrollment system by creating a program that will help the student to have fast enrollment and payment, It will also be possible to have a shorter enrollment schedule so that the school will avoid having different complains from the students and parents.

This study will help the school regarding their enrollment transactions and activities. The proposed design aimed to benefit the school in their enrollment facilities such as maintaining the files, assessment of fees and especially the Enrollment System itself.

The main beneficiary of the study is the school itself they would be adapting the innovation of technology through application program database that will make their work with optimum performance. The develop system will be handling the flows and problems that the organization is encountering. With regards to the registrar and accounting department, the proposed design will help the school in maintaining the data of the students and the school will not use the manual data gathering. NSI will just need to check the system for the records needed.

Many library systems are operated manually by group of people. In such situations many people involved in the process of managing the library such a way that to keep records regarding the books & students (borrowers), check the books manually, keep records on issued books etc. all these things have to be carried out manually & if the library is large in content handling is also a problem .

The aim of this project is to develop a system that can handle & manage the activities involved in a library in an efficient & reliable way. Less managing personnel & easy searching availability .
