Surah An-Nur 35-40

024.035 Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah guides to His light whom He wills. Allah sets forth Parables for men: and Allah knows all things.

24.036 (Lit is such a Light) in houses, which Allah hath ordained to be raised ; for the celebration, in them, of His name: In them is He glorified in the mornings and in the evenings, (again and again),-

024.037 By men whom neither business nor buying and selling can divert from the Remembrance of Allah, nor from regular Prayer, nor from the practice of regular Charity: Their (only) fear is for the Day when hearts and eyes will be convulsed

024.038 That Allah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace: for Allah provides for those whom He will, without measure.

024.039 But the Unbelievers,- their deeds are like a mirage in sandy deserts, which the man parched with thirst mistakes for water; until when he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing: But he finds Allah (ever) with him, and Allah will pay him his account: and Allah is swift in taking account.

024.040 Or (the Unbelievers' state) is like the depths of darkness in a vast deep ocean, overwhelmed with billow topped by billow, topped by (dark) clouds: depths of darkness, one above another: if a man stretches out his hands, he can hardly see it! for any to whom Allah giveth not light, there is no light!

just the Quran but previous scriptures employ parables as well: Teacher why do you speak in parables? the disciples asked Isa. So that only those who will benefit understand. Allah doesnt need parables, we do!

Abu Bakr said,

Noor refers to Iman billah, not to the dhaat of

006.001 Praise be Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who reject Faith hold (others) as equal, with their Guardian-Lord.

Outer vision

Light Source- Sun, bulbs, tube-lights, candles, lamps etc. Seeing organ- Eye Light Source- From Allah See through- Iman in Allah

Inner vision

002.257 Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (For ever).

Believe in Allah and everything lights up.

Abdullah bin Abbas says this tree is on top of a hill with no trees surrounding it. The purest form of oil; readily inflammable. The Siddiqeen!

A sound intellect and uncorrupted nature; free from vanities. Revelation comes near it:

Lights up the heart Lights up the Chest

Have We not expanded for you, your chest?

Lights up the entire being

Greatest example: 033.045 O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and Warner,-

033.046 And as one who invites to Allah's (grace) by His leave, and as a lamp spreading light.

Light of Iman: Composite of 2 lights and it manifests itself as a shining star.

017.078 Establish regular prayers - at the sun's decline till the darkness of the night, and the morning prayer and reading: for the prayer and recitaion in the morning carry their testimony.

Strong will-power otherwise you will be distracted and lost in this world. - general and specific; a business and a business deal.

O you who believe! Let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. If any act thus, they are the real losers.
