Rams child was diagnosed with a brain tumor, Salmans Being Human charity foundation took care of the childs treatment and brought the little one back from the brink. Salman invited flak with his comments to a Pakistani TV channel: "Too much hype has been created around the 26/11 attacks because elite people were targeted. Attacks have happened in trains and small towns too, but no one talked about it so much. Actor Salman Khan has apologised for his remarks on the 26/11 attack and insists that they were ''twisted'' and he did not mean to ''hurt anybody's sentiments''

Other Controversies
It was alleged that song Munni badnaam hui was a copy from famous pakistani comedian Umer Sharifs movie Mr. Charlie which was released way back in 1992. An activist Rajkumar Tak had earlier filed a case in city civil court against the usage of word Hindustani in the item song. Rajkumar Taks petition stated that use of such word is highly objectionable. Apart from this, a 45-year-old Om Prakash Jakhar alleged to sue Dabangg makers. He claimed that as the blockbuster films poster background contained four numbers that belonged to his family and the school run by him in Rajasthans Fatehpur Shekhawati, Jakhar has been receiving calls from people asking about Chulbul Pandey and Munni since then.
