ABOUT 6A CORPORATION
6A Corporation operates as a small logistics firm and is a family-run transportation business Located in Rourkela, Orissa, it has a fleet of trucks which it operates between several nodal points such as mines, factories and ports Operating in a radius of 400 km, it covers two factories in Sambalpur and Rourkela, two mines Talcher and Angul and a port at Paradip The major area of concern are the losses incurred due to inadequate control and monitoring when the truck leaves the nodal points

PROCESS ANALYSIS
The company aims at increasing the revenue generation by

introducing new technologies and processes which can help increase productivity
Revenue generation could be improved by :

- Increasing resource utilization by real time tracking of the fleet - Increase driver accountability by real time fuel consumption
Comprehensive Four-stage approach was taken to address the
